Ready For A Full Load's Response to "Bragging Rights Owners vs The Chinese Common Cold"

August 29th, 2020

Let the record reflect very clearly, the ownership group Ready For A Full Load ("Full Load") loves the energy of this league and the passion that rages through all of its owners. It was league communications like this that were envisioned being dispersed when Full Load established BR Almanac. The ownership of Full Load is proud to provide our league this platform for discussion and discourse.

Full Load ownership appreciates the ownership of Glenns plea to ensure the flames of our friendship stay stoked, that we never allow life’s inevitable obstacles to suppress our quests to claim the Keith Rendleman Trophy. This impassioned cry does not fall on deaf ears and should be seen by the league as a necessary reminder of our roots. While this is a groundbreaking league statement for its public nature, the fears and concerns expressed are certainly not new.

While the Ready For A Full Load brand is relatively new, it’s ownership group and their involvement in the league certainly is not. A fervent defender of the leagues most inalienable right, the right to brag, the Full Load organization has long prided itself on its attendance record. Present and partying for each of the six live draft weekends and the only official offseason summit, the Full Load ownership group recognizes the historic nature of their absence from the 2020 draft weekend. It’s an opportune time for reflection on the resilient nature of our league. When members of our league could not commit to past draft weekends, it was not uncommon to hear other league owners question their commitment to the Bragging Rights cause. Acknowledging the effort they made to attend the draft night, their seeming lack of interest in the weekend worried many. For it is, and always has been, a draft weekend, whether certain ownership groups have been flaky towards it or not. Can their resolve to participate for only a night be attributed to a lack of stamina, low testosterone levels, and/or a lack of respect for our troops? This is a question that continues to haunt the ownership of FULL Load and one we don’t expect to ever have an answer to.

On that note, Full Load’s ownership challenges this league to hold itself to a higher standard. The Glenns ownership group has asked that we ensure we have our one night a year. Why settle? Commit to weekend, commit to group bonding (not bondage), commit so that we may never have to question the fire in the hearts of our league owners. The experiences we share and the stories we collectively know are the backbone of this league. Ready For A Full Load is not honoring their commitment for the first time this year, as is the case for the ownership group cemented in history by Cobbs Bubble Route’s championship of 2017. Our track records should inspire that we will not miss the next weekend, we will not miss the next chance to contribute to debauchery and chaos.

The Glenns hosted draft weekend of 2020 promises to demonstrate the fire that still burns in our league. Full Load ownership can’t express enough how proud we are to belong to this collective.

May Rendleman be upon you all.

Here’s to Bragging Rights, now and forevermore.
