Way Too Early 2026 Bragging Rights Power Rankings

 

Day 1 of the fantasy football season is underway. Draft pick positions were chosen so now it’s time to get into the Way Too Early 2026 Bragging Rights Power Rankings:

1.       Flightpath – Travis locked in the second best draft spot on the board at the 1.02. Some could argue that the 1.02 is the best spot this year since there is no stress at all. Whatever Max takes at 1st overall Travis gets the leftover of Gibbs or Bijan. Either one is an absolute win, and Travis is taking this pick to the bank. He has quite the depth chart at keepers and that leaves a ton of room for Travis to work with. The locked in league winner mixed with a star-studded cast of keepers means Travis sits in poll position this season heading into the draft.

Ø  Pick Position: 2nd

Ø  Projected Keeper: JSN – Round 2

§  Notable Qualified Keeper Candidates: Judkins, Garrett Wilson, Swift, Tee Higgins, Dicker the Kicker

 

2.       Kev the Architect – Kev walks into the 2026 season as the current champ and he shows no signs of slowing down. The back half of the draft is where champs have been made in recent years, and Kev gets nice and comfortable with the 1.08 – the 3rd best place to draft this season. In terms of keepers, it’s quality over quantity and he has the best keeper on the board. Drake Maye comes in at Round 14 this year with a shot at finishing as the QB 1 this season. Kev is officially a problem for this league.

Ø  Projected Keeper: Drake Maye – Round 14

§  Notable Qualified Keeper Candidates: Tet, B Rob, JT

 

3.       Insurman * - After configuring the nearly perfect NFL Draft day mock he was able to secure the best pick position on the board this year, the 1.01. Gibbs and Bijan have a chance to have the greatest season of all time by two RBs in a single season. Only way he could squander this pick is if he passes on both RBs and there is no plausible case for that to happen. Even though Love is in the player pool he isn’t projected to come close to the 1.01 and so Max should be safe. Skattebo is the projected keeper which keeps Max from the overall 1 spot in this year’s pre-draft rankings. While Cam is a great keeper in round 11 – the injury was severe and that doesn’t inspire total confidence this year to elevate Insurman to the top spot.

Ø  Projected Keeper: Cam Skattebo – Round 11

§  Notable Qualified Keeper Candidates: Hurts, JaMo, Evans, Fleece Hall

 

4.       Glenn’s – Glenn’s was forced to adopt the “take what you can, give nothing back” approach as Glenn’s had no say in the matter of draft position. Glenn’s was pleasantly surprised with the 1.06. Walking into this year’s draft Glenn’s keeper will be Puka and that alone gives this organization a chance to make something out of this season.

Ø  Pick Position: 6th

Ø  Projected Keeper: Puka – Round 2

§  Notable Qualified Keeper Candidates: Tuten, Bill, Charbs

 

5.       The Gambler – Tyler ends up with a last second pick swap from 1.07 to 1.04. The 1.04 seemed the worst of the two options. In theory the 4 is strong but hasn’t been able to shine in recent years as it misses on the studs and lands in the minefield of guys who you feel obligated to pick because they had a really good season last year, but deep down you know won’t repeat. Where Tyler shines coming into the draft – keepers. He has an embarrassment of riches in this department and that flexibility should give him plenty of confidence heading into the draft. Conflicting reports out of camp have him picking Hampton or Egbuka but he can’t go wrong with whoever he chooses.

Ø  Projected Keeper: Hampton – Round 2

§  Notable Qualified Keeper Candidates: Caleb Williams, Aubrey, Egbuka, Odunze, Texans D, Achane

 

6.       Rowdy Rhinos – Rowdy Rhinos finds themselves back at where they started last season at 1.03. A puzzling choice for some but others applaud the effort to face prior demons instead of running away from them. Rowdy Rhinos felt like last year was a fluke and it was advantageous to run it back at the 1.03. Similar to the 1.04, the 1.03 finds itself in the minefield only the 1.03 takes the vanguard into the explosions so at least the 1.04 has a chance of making it out alive. Rhinos are tough but I don’t know how many more mines this Rowdy Rhino can take. On the bright side the horn is getting polished when it comes to keepers. The organization finds itself with great options that may help alleviate any potential pain points. Pickens and Javonte Williams are great options but look no further than the Rhinos favorite fantasy player of all time, George Kittle, to be this team’s keeper. TEs sadly make their return to plague this great league but that should benefit Rowdy Rhinos not having to think about the position all draft. He didn’t vote for the position, but you better believe this man hedged that bet – doubt the man’s drafting but never his investment prowess. With all the praise of this keeper pick unfortunately it’s just the TE position so it isn’t enough to move the needle.

Ø  Projected Keeper: Kittle – Round 11

§  Notable Qualified Keeper Candidates: Kyren, St. Brown, Pickens, Walker, Javonte Williams

 

7.       The Dawg – Patrick finds himself at the 1.05 for a redemption run of last year’s 1.05 failures. While the draft spot is nothing to write home about the keeper is the hottest new stock of summer ’26. Luther Burden was an advance metric, yard per route run darling last year. Ben Johnson emphasized he was buying all the Luther Burden stock he could legally buy without insider trader laws triggering. Per usual Patrick is onto something here.

Ø  Pick Position: 5th

Ø  Projected Keeper: Luther Burden – Round 12

§  Notable Qualified Keeper Candidates: Chase Brown, AJ Brown, Travis Hunter

 

8.       Commish – Steve gets a back half of the draft spot to pick from but misses out on any real earth-shattering keepers. The 1.07 feels like a great spot for him but insiders within the organization suggest he won’t be taking a keeper. In a league where owners are getting discounts for studs before draft day begins – walking into the draft having to pay full price for guys that will disappoint you doesn’t help in the pre-draft rankings. Warren in Round 9 is on the table.

Ø  Projected Keeper: N/A

§  Notable Qualified Keeper Candidates: Warren, Monty, Sutton
