CLBB 2022 Preseason Rankings

CLBB 2022 Preseason Rankings Boys what a draft!!! The Sloan Surprise, boating all over the Tampa Bay, drafting, poker, baseball, stump, the list goes on. We did the year 10 draft the right way and this owner wouldn’t have had it any other way. Some flew, others drove, and one did both. Great commitment! Before we get into the rankings, I want to point out something that was defiantly the low point but worth mentioning. Boys we sat at a restaurant for a little over 2 hours and had an unpleasant experience to say the least. But through that whole endeavor we stuck it out. Pat wanted to leave knowing this was a downer for the group, but Tyler said absolutely not, and do you know what this group of fine men did? We stayed. We didn’t split, we didn’t all complain about the executive decision to stay, we didn’t have some people go back to the condo or go to the bar or go walk around the docks and look at the sights. We stayed right at that table in solidarity with Pat. Even sending...

Facts to establish off the bat:   -When I refer to the league, I of course am referring to the eight-man collective that is Bragging Rights -Through the 2020 season, the league average for points scored for per week is 99.7 -Through the 2020 season, the league average for points scored against per week is 99.86 -Through the 2020 season, our collective league record is 503-505 (.499%) -As a league, we will forever have a losing record and will forever be in the red for scoring I wanted to establish that off the top because it speaks to the spirit of this league. This league is gritty, full of grinders that refuse to quit.  After starting the season 0-5 and accepting the likelihood of having the first losing season in our franchise history, we shift our attention to avoiding the worst record in league history, the infamous 3-13 Glenn’s 2014 season. In order to sustain some optimism, we turn to the numbers. Here's the information that has My Dads Dri...

CLBB Week 2 Recap

CLBB Week 2 Recap Washed Columnist Max Seng Big Oof (2-0) defeats The Demi-God Strikes Back (1-1) Final: 84.78-74.82 We open up this week's recap with a real rock fight as newly-anointed Bag Boy vacuumed up our commissioner's short-lived revenge tour against unknown assailants.  An effortless 19.7 from McCaffrey and another 16.9 from the $40 tight end Kelce was enough to get by the guy who buys then frames photos of himself. For all the fair market value Steve noted he took advantage of (?) at the draft, Demi-God followers have privately questioned playing Corey Davis against a stout Pats D. Nonetheless, the year is young and despite starting 2-0, King of the Oofs made major moves this week against the advice of his financial advisor, spending $58 on three different free agents no one else bid over $10 for. Both these players are still searching for their first championship, and aren't messing around, as evidenced by their words and their dollars. Rowdy Rhinos (2-0) defeat...
CLBB Week 1 Recap   1.       Rowdy Rhinos vs The Mojo Moments – CLBB Preseason rankings had Sloan at 7 th and what a mistake that was. I don’t know which would do more damage in a China shop between Rowdy Rhinos and a wannabe New Zealander wielding a former professional baseball player’s bat, but after this week my money is on Rowdy Rhinos. The Rhinos went ahead and dropped 124.26 while simultaneously stealing all of Max’s Mojo. Right now, The Mojo Moments are just looking for one singular Mojo Moment. Fat Bastard gave Austin his Mojo back in Jay Roach’s 1999 classic, Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me. Seng’s team better find this leagues Fat Bastard to help him get his Mojo back quickly.   2.       Glenn’s vs Daddys Home – It was a close game but not really. Glenn’s was able to secure the game heading into Monday night’s game with the dub. The three headed beast of Kamara, Chubb, and Harris was looking lik...
